Kayak

Let yourself be carried away by the Ourthe as it winds its way through the beautiful and unique landscapes of the valley. Along the way, small waterfalls and rapids ensure an active and refreshing experience on the water.

We will take you to the starting point in La-Roche-en-Ardenne. There, you will receive a kayak with 1, 2, or 3 seats, a life jacket, and a splash-proof barrel (use at your own risk) to protect your personal belongings. After a brief safety briefing, you will be fully prepared for the 8 km descent! The kayak trip leads you to the Wildtrails Basecamp, located on the banks of the Ourthe near the village of Jupille. Upon arrival, sanitary facilities are available for you to freshen up.

Important: reservations and rates always apply per person and not per kayak.

For individuals, this activity is accessible without prior reservation during weekends and school holidays. However, to guarantee the optimal quality of our service and activities, we highly recommend booking online in advance. We also kindly ask you to respect our beautiful environment: picnic and barbecue stops are not permitted along the route.

Please note:

• The minimum age for participation depends on the current water level.
• In the event of a water level that is too low or too high, a fully equivalent alternative will be provided at all times:
  • Water level too low: Stand-up paddling (SUP).
  • Water level too high: Rafting.
  • No refund is provided.
